Dr. David Lin

Originally from Taiwan, David first moved to Australia in 1999, to begin his tertiary education at Melbourne University. It was there that he first met his future wife and colleague, Carolyn.

David moved to Wangaratta in 2006, and has since worked at two major dental surgeries in the North-East. During these years, he and his wife fell in love with the North-East area and decided to call it home.

David and Carolyn finally realised their dreams with the opening of their new, purpose designed dental surgery in Wangaratta – DC Dental Clinic, in 2017. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and hopes to lead his dental team to provide the best care for his patients.

In his leisure time, David is a keen car and sports enthusiast. He also enjoys travelling immensely, experiencing local cultures and food.

Dr. Carolyn Chong

Carolyn grew up in Malaysia, the youngest of four children, before moving to Australia to begin her tertiary education at Melbourne University.

She moved to Wangaratta in 2006, after completing her degree and has continued to work locally, improving her skills and scope in dentistry. She is currently the Secretary of the North-East Dental Group of the Victorian Dental Association.

Carolyn has continued to build a great rapport with not only her patients, but also members of the community, including the local church that she and David attend.

Carolyn enjoys cooking, photography, travelling and spending time with family and friends in her leisure time.

Dr. Martin Horwood (Retired December 2021)

Growing up in South Australia, Martin graduated at Adelaide University in 1985, before moving to Wangaratta to begin his career in dentistry. Martin has worked in Wangaratta, Myrtleford and Benalla since moving to the North East, becoming a trusted and favoured dentist in the area.

In February 2017, Martin joined Dr David Lin and Dr Carolyn Chong at DC Dental Clinic, offering in excess of 50 years of combined dental experience.
