EVERY PERSON IS UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT PATIENTS HAVE DIFFERENT NEEDS
Our clinic caters to people who have physical impairments by providing ramp access on the Clark Street side of the building, adjacent to the disabled drop off zone. The Clark Street entrance is recommended for anyone requiring wheelchair/stretcher/scooter access, or if the stairs at the front entrance are too difficult to negotiate, or if walking any distance is difficult.
Our surgeries are large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and, if needed hospital/ambulance stretcher beds.
Our patient bathroom is wheelchair accessible and also accommodates the visually impaired.
We have created Boardmaker booklets for patients with Autism and/or other learning difficulties. These booklets have diagrams and simple wording for every step involved in visiting the dentist. The booklets are given free of charge to any patient requiring them and are theirs to keep.
